I just picked up a 50mm 1.2 ltm the other day.
Does anyone know of any professional repair shops in Asia that I could send it to?
I'd prefer to keep it local, so if anyone knows of a shop in Seoul, South Korea that does great work please let me know. However, I wouldn't hesitate to send it out of the country, either.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the DIY, however I'd prefer to get it done professionally. I know that I could always send it to the U.S. as there seems to be many reputable and professional repair shops, but I'd like to try to keep the cost down since the lens didn't cost me much and I'd like to keep it that way.

If you send it out of Korea you will run the risk of being forced to pay import duty on the cost of the repair. It has happened to me with a telescope I have owned for 35 years. Canon is a strong brand in Korea. Why not just return it to them?
