That's some pano, Bruce. It all seems so nice and peaceful. I'm hoping the area can recover soon, but the hurricane season isn't over for quite a while yet. Good luck to you and all that have been affected by the storm.

Thats very kind of you. Thanks so much. The whole city lost power for a week or more and many west of us had catastrophic wind and water damage. At least we can see hurricanes approaching with plenty of time to get to a safe place unlike other parts of the country that unfortunately suffer horrific fires, earthquakes, tornados, flash floods and more. I feel so badly for them.

Seeing how the lens handles skin tones in full sunlight. Bayou Lafourche where they sell fresh shrimp right off the boat. Don't know if the place is still there after Hurricane Ida. Think it was a direct hit.

Mine displays somewhat more flare than this one seems to, maybe more than would be suggested by the state of the coating and glass surfaces, but maybe I underestimate how dirty mine is.

It's absolutely amazing to me how good this tiny, almost ancient lens is on a modern digital sensor.
