52mm IR Cut filter

The basic difference as far as I can see is the first is a "slim" version. Will either work correctly on a CV 15mm type II lens?

The slim versions of filters is just for ultra wide angle lenses so that it doesn't interfere with the viewing angle and cause vignetting.

15mm is pretty wide 🙂 Ok, perhaps on an M8 its not super wide at around 20mm...

On the 15mm. I would personally go with the slim version. Though to be honest I've never noticed my filter interfering with the lens, even on my wide angles. But better safe than sorry.
