Whats the deal here? I cant find one of these cameras anywhere and I don’t really have the cash to buy a new m7 or mp. Are these .58 magnification cameras rare or something? The one that I did find was a chrome m6ttl in user condition but the guy wanted 1800 dollars for it, which seems kinda steep to me. :bang:

They are harder to find.... it took me quite a while to find a 0.58 M6TTL. When shooting 50 or less and/pr wearing it makes sense to use a 0.58 ....
2 years ago I paid 1350€f or a mint condition one with a late 27xxxx serial number.

Unless it really needs to be a Leica, the Konica Hexar RF has a finder with approx. the same magnification (0.6x), and is considerably cheaper..

whats it like for when you wear glasses? Thats the only reason im looking for a 58. Contacts irritate me and im not quite ready to go get eye surgery

you can easily see the whole 28mm frameline with glasses. the left line is indicated by the shutter speed scale and a mark in the top left corner.

a .58x m6 shouldn't be 1800, especially if it's in user condition. try haggling down to around 1300.
