.58 VF into an M8?

Anyone know if this could be done? The VF isn't quite wide enough for me, and going to the .58 might be enough so that the 24 framelines aren't so tight to the edge.

I was just thinking that the other day. I'd like the next new batch of Leica's to have just as much eye relief as the Canon/ Nikon's and whatever else I forgot to mention.

Can anybody make this happen?
