Does anyone know if it is feasable to mount Koni-Omega lenses on boards, and if the 58mm Omegaron would cover 6x9?

You have to remount the lens in a new shutter. LF specialists can do that for you. It's been 10 years since I've looked at that problem. It would be better to stick to 6x7, although I vaguely recall reading that it would cover 6x9.

Exposing since 1969.
I have tried it and it vignettes. It might cover 6x8cm but not 6x9cm.

Why the 58 Omegaron... Why not Mamiya 65...

The Mamiya Press 65 mm comes in a good shutter and covers 6X9 (It's original format). In fact the 65 almost covers 6X12 with some strong vignette. Mamiya Sekor glass and a great Seiko shutter are a good, reliable combination.
As far as a mount goes, the breechlock mount from the front of an old Mamiya standard will mount to any surface creating a BL mount for any of the Mamiya Press focus helicals.
Mamiya 65 press lenses pop up frequently on eBay and/or for sale in the market place.
