5cm Summicron- Help me ID this :)

Hi All,

I just bought a Rigid 5cm Leitz Summicron w/original Leitz hood and filter. My intention is to use this lens on my Leica M2. If I have this right, it's a Version 1 from 1957, so it predates the M2 by a few years. Anybody using this version, and how do you like it? 😎😎😎

This is 11118 (SOOIC-MS), "Summicron 50/2 v2" (or "rigid I"), same optics as the DR Summicron.

Great lens. A sibling to the 90/2 in your avatar.

Excellent. That's what I was hoping for. I've heard alot of good things about the V2 Rigid, and twenty years ago, I had the DR, and I wanted that glass back.
