The best camera is one that still works!
That's a really nice looking M2 but I think that's on the high side unless it's just had a CLA. If it has I think it's worth the money.

670 US for this Leica M2. Worth it?
I'm new to leicas, so I don't know if this is worth 670 US. Thanks!
It looks pretty but it's basically impossible to say what it's worth without knowing what kind of mechanical condition its in...

Well, he would, wouldn't he?True, but he say it works perfectly tho
Also, different people seem to have different definitions of "perfectly", ranging from "at all" to "like new".
Cheers,

Photos dont really matter, you need to be sure it is working, any chance you can give it a try?
If it had a recent CLA then it's a decent price.

Do you want it?
Looks pretty, but what's the RF patch like? What about the RF alignment? Frameline contrast? Clarity of the viewfinder? Shutter curtains? Shutter accurate? Self timer work? Pressure plate condition?
More data is required.

Unless you do your own processing, be aware it takes some time to turn around a test roll. If you don't film test it you will not know how "it works". Looks great cosmetically.

Just shoot a test roll of some random C41 and take it to a drug store and have it developed really quick and make sure the speeds are accurate. As long as the finder is bright and there aren't any leaks and the speeds work then that's a good price.

I thought nice M2s were going for around $1K, but that must be at dealers.
I just looked on ebay sold listings and quite a few sold for under $670, some well under. You may want to have a look and possibly use that information.

There's a nice M2 from my buddy Lem in the classifieds now. Very good price. Why risk anything else?

$180 with Youxin Ye will give you peace of mind with a CLA. Changing the leather is just $40 more. They look new when the leatherette is changed. How about inside? Speeds? The M2 is the esiest to fix yourself, there are manuals with detailed drawings on how it works.
