Hi all, there is no category for O rings, so I thought I would mention here that I got O rings in two sizes from a hardware store, but they were out of their boxes so I don't know the sizes. They both fit snugly around the air-zinc hearing aid battereries that go for 8 for 6 bucks.
I got skinny ones and fat ones.
A skinny one works well with my Oly OM1; it is a tight fit around the 675 air-zinc hearing aid battery, and not really tight in the battery case, but screw-on lid holds the o ring snug, holds things in.
For my Gossen Luna-six I put a fat one in the bottom of the battery compartment, and a skinny one on the top battery. The skinny one on top likewise fit into the screw-on lid holding things tight.
I bought out the store, and have about 2 dozen of them in both sizes, so if anybody needs a few IM me for a Gossen or an OM1
The Gossen Luna-six acted weird on startup. When I did the test with the switch on the bottom, the needle jumped all over the place.
Other than that it was off a consitent 2 stops in comparison with my reliable meters.
The Oly OM1 meter was right on all the way. That is a special camera, well worth the hundred bucks they generally go for.
