Hi guys: Number 2 in my darkroom questions posts (bear with me, there are almost certainly going to be more to come)....

Thanks to the wonders of freecycle and my eagle-eyed older brother I'm now the proud owner of a nearly complete darkroom kit. There's a few bits and bobs that would make my life more fun - larger trays, a print washer, glamorous assistant - but so far I'm very, very, very pleased. It's been a few years since I had access to a darkroom (at school), and I'm loving being able to print my negatives. I'm sick and tired of scanning, frankly, and it's not half so magical.

BUT, what's missing from my life is the wherewithal to make prints from my 120 negs. I have a whole stack of unprinted 6x6 shots dating back to a three month stay in Japan from last September, and I'm seriously eager to print them up. The manual for my Durst says I need various things, but I'm a bit slow, and I'm not sure exactly what I need, or where to get it.

So, for 6x6 (not planning to buy a 6x7 camera any time soon), I think I'll need:
1: An 80mm lens; but which, what mount, and where from? Ideally not too expensive, please .
2: A lensboard for the above....Ah, whatwhere?
3: 6x6 mask...obviously, but where from?
4: Anti-newton glass. Is this necessary, or does it depend on whether you have a glass negative holder?
5: A different diffuser? Definitely not at all clear on this.

So there you go.

Looking forward to your replies,

Tim

I believe what you are looking for is a Lidiset. It's a conversion for that enlarger to do 6x6. I'm pretty sure it needs/includes a new condenser.
