The 700V works well except for the POS 35 film holder. I know this is a common malady, so has anyone found a way to cope. I have better luck scanning the emulsion side down. This seems to tame the curl somewhat. I see some glass anti-newton ring strips but they go for $30.00 each. I've read that the 750V holders are better but don't know if they are or if they'd work in the 700. I wonder it I could cut some Lexan strips? Any tips?

I bought the ANR inserts (for 35mm) and it is a huge improvement ! The standard Epson 35mm holder doesn't hold the film flat at all. The glass inserts (ANR) are not cheap but IMHO worth the money.
