75 'lux needs adjustment/repair....

My 75 'lux is not focusing at infinity. It seems to be "short". I've taken the lens to Steve's Repair in Culver City. He tells me he may not be able to restore the lens to factory specs. What needs to be done to correct this issue? Can the lens be sent to N.J. for repair?

Yes, I am sure NJ would be happy to do it. I have never sent anything there, but hear OK things about them. I send my stuff to either DAG (Don in Wisconson www.dagcamera.com) or Sherry Krauter (she is in NY state, www.sherrykrauter.com). IMHO, both are in the top five repair folks for Leica in the world (including sloms and NJ).

Drop each a line and see what they can do.

Thanks Bill. I am somewhat perturbed w/ Steve. I was hoping to keep my repair/maintenance work local. But that may not be possible.
