As mentioned in a previous post, I thought my Epson R-D1 had bit the dust. Without much hope, I sent the camera out to Steve's Camera Repair (Culver City California) and he was able to bring it back to life. The camera arrived the other day and everything seems to be working as it should. It had something to do with the shutter. Why that would cause the problems that I was having, I have no idea. The shutter had about 5500 actuations. I'm just happy to have it working again. Kudos to Steve's!

I'm glad you got your Epson fixed. I never bothered to get one because I wasn't sure it would last very long seeing as they were already pretty old by the time they crossed my radar.

I've had a couple R-D1's fixed by Steve's, an X100 too.
