I picked up an r3a with 40/1.4 as my first interchangeable lens RF, since most of my work is portraits and fashion I was torn between the 75 and 90 as well. After seeing some great portraits from members here with the CV 75 and knowing that I'm often shooting in small spaces, I ordered the 75 and I'm very happy with it.
I've since picked up a couple of FSU 50's and find the difference between the 50 and 75 to be significant. I'm sure I will fill out my kit at some point with the 90, but I think I made the right choice with the 75.
