85 and 35 mm finders

I could buy this finder for the 85 mm lenses. I have the 35 mm finder already.
My question is: Is the 85 finder another optical construction or exactly the same as the 35 only with a cap with a hole restricting the FOV?

I'm not sure if the 85 has the same magnification as the 35, but they are all reversed Galileo finders, with soft edges. So yes it is a hole.

By the way the 35 I have is from Rostov, and the field of view is definitely wider than 35mm's...
 
Lots of different viewfinders out there. Kodak made a 35/80 that was much better than the FSUs I had. If you are looking to cut down on the number carried you might look into sports finders from Leica, Nikon and Cannon. Basically a metal frame though way cool.

Parallax is more of an issue with a 85 than a 35.
