Let me preface the vitriol that is to come by saying that I am no fan of Mr. Puts' highly opinionated "scientific" reviews (science supposedly is objective) and I find his writing style, in general, in dire need of proofreading and editing.

That said, although these I am taking these "tests" with many grains of salt (and nutmeg), I thought some of you may find the page interesting:

Gone. We need it back. I for one would love a series of threads for showing samples from various lenses. No discussion. Just pictures.

Ah yes, I remember reading and looking at this review. My first introduction to the brick wall. I have since found a much more attractive backdrop for guaging lens sharpness.

The optics forum was consolidated into the brand specific forums a while ago. All of the posts that were in there were moved to the appropriate "new" place for them, none were deleted.
