Anyone know anything else about this? I have been searching for news on and off since I first heard of it in early 2012. I'm excited to get my hands on one.

The 8 x 10 camera comes complete with a 110mm cone and all the features of the smaller 4 x 5 version. It is expected that production of these cameras will commence in October with stock available to order and ship from the UK in November 2012.

Insh'Allah! At photokina they still had only the original prototype, but the 4x5 was still taking up a LOT of time: they'd sold 1,440 by then. Not bad for a 4x5 camera in 2012! The 'focal length' had however been finalized.

Cheers,

R.

1440? …Yes, I would say that is quite impressive. The 8x10 will probably be much less popular. The sheet film holders are so much more expensive just for starters (as is the film). I don't currently own an 8x10 but, I did pick up a half dozen 2 sided holders from a studio closing their doors. Anyone interested in the pinhole Walker would be smart to do the same.

I'm interested in the 8x10 Titan also. I have plenty of 8x10 holders, so that's not an issue for me. It shouldn't be an issue for anyone, actually, as you don't need to buy a new holder. Used ones are inexpensive on eBay.

I suspect the cost of the 8x10 Titan will be higher than many people will be able to justify for a pinhole camera. I don't think they'll sell very many of them.

I love the simple, space saving design that utilizes a cone instead of a big bulky box. A 5x7 reducing back would be a great accessory.
