Very nice shots David.
Took this one using the 90 f2.8 Tele-Elmarit and HP-5 and developed in HC-110 Dilution H for 10 minutes.

This lens is extremely reliable. Works well in just about any situation; landscape, close portraits, medium distance. Always sharp, no flare, light and tiny. It's been my choice for travel for three years and six different countries!

Here's one from the Elmarit-M version. This is one of those lenses that I bought, sold, missed, and bought again. It's perfectly balanced between performance, size, handling and speed - a true gem in the M stable.

I have to agree that this is perhaps one of Leica's sleeping giants out there. I had a 90mm Summicron, sold it, and got my pre-6-bit coded 2.8/90mm Elmarit-M for just $900 on Craigslist when I lived in Seattle - and although I seldom use it, when it does come out to play, invariably some of the shots on film are just wonderful, such as the one's above and in my blog by clicking here. And yes, the balance of performance, size, handling and speed come as an added bonus.
I wouldn't pass on this one if you can haggle someone down to below $1000.
