90mm Elmars, Rokkors

i don't shoot this focal length much, but i like to have a good one around for when i need it. i like the prices of the german-made rokkor and the elmar-c. the lenses look similar, but have a different filter size. are they the same glass? if not, how would you characterize the "looks" of each of these lenses? thanks.

The German made Rokkor and Elmar-C have the same glass. They just have different filter thread size. The Japanese Rokkor for the CLE however is slightly different.
