90mm macro-elmar on ZI?

This goes in the "why would you want to?" and "of course not" category... but I'm assuming that while the 90mm macro-elmar alone would work just fine on a ZI, if one wanted to use the adapter with the cute goggles, the goggles wouldn't line up correctly.

Am I guessing right? Anyone silly enough to have tried it?

Sounds right to me - a can't see why the lens alone would not work, but as you say, the goggles won't line up and might even damage your camera is you tried it.

It's a great lens by the way - I have the goggles but very rarely use them.
