speaking of Hexanon.... For the less familiar (me), please advise what a fair price is for a Hexar RF in Excl condition and a M-Hexanon 50mm lens in Mint condition. I wound up with the kit in a fast multi-trade operation and have no idea what they might bring on the market.

PS: The M-Hexanon is one awesome little lens: Incredibly tight tolerances, 10 blade aperture. Some have likened it to the pre-asph Summicron.

BTW, my sale of a clean Summicron DR for $125 on PNET was probably one of the faster sales last year. I've got the 50mm M-Hex and its outsatnding - both in image results/bokeh and in the incredibly tight tolerances, which make many Leica 50mm lens appear sloppy (I've owned 3 Leica Crons). Granted, while some Leica lens tolerances may be sloppy, the glass is top of the line. I'm sold.

$300 is a fair price for the 50/2 Hex.

You will often see them for more too.

Still a bargain at $377 IMHO. The Hexanons are really excellent. And you are right 35mmdelux, the build quality would put Leica to shame.
