My friend get the idea seeing my M2-T and IIIC-T, which one of them i ever shared in this link :

He did the curtain swap while i help some finishing touch on it.
glad he like the result. maybe his next step is to paint it black.

now, what should i call it? a Canon P-T ?

as what i did with my leica, we use nikon F/F2 shutter curtains as a donor.
In a leica conversion, it is not as easy as on canon.
Reason being is canon was already using thin metal curtain by default. Swapping with titanium curtain doesn't change too much setting.
On leica, it is different story.

What is the advantage of a titanium shutter curtain? Durability? Lower noise level? Novelty? There must be some advantage. I am very impressed by the whole project.

yes, it has wringkles in pattern, so thin like aluminum foil, but i can't tear it apart by pulling it.
In canon, the improvement is not much, maybe lighter (a little), and stronger (harder to make it wringkle), but much more improving the "wow" factor.
In leica, that's different story.
