Thanks Gene, I had always wondered why some people found very wide angle lenses attractive. Now those shots got got me gassing about some wides.

Gene, thanks for your wide angle pictures. Nice views and atmospheres. I received a Bessa L from Stephen Gandy yesterday. I have put a cv 28 on it and when I get used to it maybe I 'll try a super wide angle.

Good pics of the gear, and a nice succint writeup on the lenses.
Some nice shots illustrating both the sharpness and angle of view of these little beauties. I was particularly taken by the one with the gears which has some neat angles on it leading your eye nicely into the frame.
As well as my Bessa L a Zorki 4 has arrived today, and it's sitting here on my desk right next to the computer. I have attached my 12mm Heliar to it and loaded up a roll of Delta 400. I might see if I can borrow my partners digicam and get a shot of the combo to post here.
