I bought an MC hoping it would be like the XA. Unfortunately the copy I bought was faulty - when you close the back, it just winds and winds.

Mine works fine so far (first roll..) but you never know with old cameras. I had a situation with Pentax mini - worked fine for maybe 5-6 rolls and then something happened with film winding mechanism.

The only problem I had with my MC was the batteries not working right in cold weather. Made for some extreme under exposures. I'll have to get it out of the cabinet again now that it's warming up. And you can't beat the older Yashicas for lens and operation.
