I've just processed my first roll of film in 20 years!
Used to process all my B/W but back in the 80's just didn't have the time any more. A few weeks back i sent a roll out and they charged me $24 to process and give the worst 4 x 6's i've ever seen. So back we go!
Shots from BessaT 101 with 50mm Heliar.
TriX processed in D76 1:1 at 400ASA.
I'm pleased but not impressed with this lens.
Some of these shot through Bus window.

First of all; nice contrast range, Patman. Though a bit on the grainy side, but that may just be the scans..

On the topic of processing/printing; I agree that B&W processing/printing isn't really great when you have it done by a lab, and expesive to boot. I've been pondering to do this myself as well, but put it on a backburner because I think little kids and chemicals don't mix. But whenever I see pictures like these, I really get tempted again..

I am sure the bus window filter you used effected the sharpness of the images, you need a bigger hood for it too. 😀

Nice job with the processing, keep it up.
