Nice looking shots there, like those tones. Dont know what everyones grudge against delta 400 is, I have found it to be excellent, your shots here show some of what that film is about.
First lemme say, thank you all for the kind words. I did a whole series which you can find here if you are so inclined ( http://www.kinofistpix.com/Site/JamesTattoo.html ). I love the delta line of film. For me, there is nothing better, tri-x and neopan just dont have the smoothness in tonality. And nothing likes to be pushed more than Delta 400, nothing...
The Summicron 50. I've made a few postings here on RFF re my step back into film, starting with the R2A and the 1.7 35mm, which is a great combo. I recently bought an m6 used and a new 50 summicron. After trying the lux and the cron, i made the decision that i would be willing to push the film harder, in exchange for the 'look' the cron provides. I have shot with just about every piece of Nikon and Canon glass. I have shot a ton of frames with that CV 1.7 35mm. The 50 Cron has a quality that is hard to pin down, but for me, I think, it comes to the gradation from focus to out-of-focus, so smooth. So pleasing.
