The best camera is one that still works!
Amazing technology in those things and you can pretty much create your own format I've noticed depending where you start to move the camera and ultimately stop the exposure. I think the last one hits the spot because it was a near full 180 degree swing and the arc may have had a bit of curve in it or something.
The whole experience from making the mowing pattern to the end result made for a very enjoyable afternoon. And of course reinforced to my neighbours their opinion that I may actually be barking mad! lol

I like the iPhone pano function and use it myself.

Well seen, planned and executed Keith. I like how you have tuned into the land, and are celebrating it. #3 makes me think of a rolling ocean swell moving across the frame.

For someone who was born and raised in a capital city I can't believe how connected I am these days to nature in every way. It really makes me sad to see the way mankind has ****ed it over ... hopefully we'll realise our follies and try to keep the planet I love alive for future generations.

Yup. That's my day job ;-)
Photographer by night.
Which makes Sunny 16 hard, or at least that's what I'm claiming.

Looks great Keith, I often use the pano function on the phone... a lot less faff than a dedicated camera..
why is that so?? in which way is doing a pano with an iphone less "faff" than doing it with a dedicated camera that has pano function?

Nice shots. I too love the pano feature on my iPhone.

Just out of curiosity I wandered out this morning at 7.30 and took a pano in the opposite direction. Not the same glow to the grass from this perspective and the fragmented light through the trees really stretched the poor little iPhone's exposure system and a subsequent increase in banding was the result. None the less this little device has capabilities that astound me ... it's a smart phone with a camera in it for god's sake!
