A half-Case and side-grip for R3m?

Hello,
I have been lurking here for the past few months, and using this community as a site for information on Rangefinder cameras. It has been extremely helpful and definitely helped me decide on the Bessa which i love, except for one thing. The angle when hanging from the strap, the hot-shoe digs into my side and is quite painful. I have searched the forums and found the solution to the problem of hanging properly is the side grip. But cannot find a half-case which will fit over the side grip. Is it possible to have both? If so what case fits with the grip?

I have the R3M with the CV grip. I am sorry you find it uncomfortable as I have walked with in a sling (long neck strap) for miles at a time with no discomfort. Good luck on your search as I think that combo is probably not out there.
 
Thanks for your response. I think i was not to clear. I understand that the CV side grip remedies the discomfort when slung. which is why i want to get one. but i also would like the benefit of a protective half-case/full (removable upper portion) as i want the option of selling it in the future. is there a way to have both? perhaps a case made for a different camera which fits over the CV side grip? or a case made with repositioned strap mounts?
