Hi Eddy,
Look for a Kindermann 70mm Tank and Reel. That will process a full roll from an A70 Magazine. These turn up from time to time.





I made these custom developing 70mm Paterson Reels. Two required for each roll; Will process a 220 length of 70mm. Perfect for me.

Also there are XRAY Reels out there somewhere: Will process like 13 feet (not a full roll) in a series of plastic buckets

Im using the camera in Ukraine, so more images are very welcome.
I use the aviaphot film, what is thin, so I might even sqeeze more meters in a cassette, as long as I can develop the whole lenght somehow.

Im also looking for a Voigtlander angle finder with 15mm insert, since the 70mm cassette makes the standard finder difficult to use.

Any input i welcome !

It's been a misery of rain and chill outdoors, and I can't really carry too much weight just yet (still recovering from shoulder replacement surgery), so I've been testing the CF Sonnar 180/4 I bought recently by shooting things around the condo. Much of this is, of course, extreme near field for a 180mm lens but I find it works very well.

My rescue orchid opened its first blossom yesterday. My partner took this poor plant out of the trash room where it had been discarded, only one leaf was salvageable. Now it has five healthy leaves and a beautiful flower spike opening up...

I just can't stand to see a living thing discarded as if it were junk.

The plant was sun-blasted, dry as a bone, and three of its four leaves were so bad I had to cut them off in hopes that whatever energy it had left it would feed into the fourth; the fourth was barely salvageable. A year and a half of simply tending to watering it and protecting it from too much sun and it's a happy plant again. It's a very rewarding feeling to see what was tossed as trash blossom into the beauty that was its birthright.

Here is a shot that might have come off or missed badly.



Turns out that misregistration of the frame number was also a slipping of some gears. My counting was correct last week. I have here a double exposure. The steel frame of the high tension electricity tower is superimposed here. I think I accidentally still had the meter set to Tri-X instead of Ektar for the tower, some saving of sorts, and maybe my pre-exposure flash of the film here added something to what I thought would be a silhouetted tree. I returned with the M9-P and the Summaron M 28 at the weekend at the same time of the morning, but no magic at all in trying to replicate this.

More than I can carry around, but it's here to use. Also 2 of 4 Lithium Battery Packs, Type CF Adapter, and seven 32G Micro Cards. I now prefer this late model Magnifying Hood, and the special CFV16 Acute Focusing Screen, which makes a huge deal with critical focus with this thing. It is -very- critical and DOF seems to be less than usual with this system. But all is good here.

It's a SPECIAL screen made specifically for the V-Series CFV16. Like it so much I bought another one to put in my EL/M

I've been using the original V matte Cross Hairs, combined with a black drop-in 3D Mask from Italy. Works great with F5.6 350mm and F8 500mm V lenses. Useful sometimes. Cross Hair not accurate with other lenses. Masks are well made and cheap.

That's a thought I didn't think of. I have an Acute Matte plain matte with grid ... I could just drop the supplied CFVII 50c mask over it. OR use a scribe to put the framing lines onto it...

The only question is whether I can do that latter without totally butchering it. LOL!

I have a dedicated screen for shooting 645 with the Hassie. To make it, I used 1/8 inch black crepe art tape from Office Depot. Cut it to length and use it to outline whatever field you like. It peels right off, and leaves no residue. Easy peasy.

These are 3D Printed Drop-In Viewfinder Masks, for the Hasselblad CFV16 Digital Back. I use these Masks with the Standard Cross Screen, when utilizing the F5,6 350mm Tele-Tessar, and the F8 500mm Tele-Opton. It all works very well together for certain types of shoots. Purchased from Italy. On the upper left is the Hasselblad Superwide Viewfinder Mask, specifically for the CFV16 Digital Back. Also 3D Printed in Italy. Eventually I will buy a Superwide, good to have this while it is available. Really how many accessories available for the CFV16? Not Many.
