A Hasselblad, more than 40 years after first looking.

Reshoot CFV16 75 F4.5 SA EI50 Hazylight 45 Up Fill Panel F45 1500J Primo2 by Nokton48, on Flickr

Reshoot using the 4x5 Sinar Norma as a Retro Technical Camera. Hasselblad CFV16 Reshoot Ei 50. Hurray! No more HOT pixels, they are gone in this latest capture. This is F45 with the Chrome Sinar Norma 75mm F4.5 Schneider Super Angulon, mounted with Mickey Mouse Ears for behind the camera adjustment possible. The FOBA Diffusing Cone makes a nice abstract plant holder. Made of thick acrylic, beautiful for Micro Compositions. Beautiful close-up lighting. 1600J Broncolor Hazylight Primo2 Pack. 3x4 Foamcore sheet down low, angled to reflect soft fill light from below. Broncolor Boxlite 40 units left and right of the dome, creating nice catchlights from left and right, without overpowering the lighting above,

This I bought from Catlabs, I want to get it installed into my pre-2013 Macbook Pro. There is an operating system mismatch of two levels I've been told. There is help fpr me nearby.

I am working on getting this installed on my pre-2013 Macbook Pro. When tethered the CFV16 Digital Back blacks out, they are then to be controlled completely by Flexcolor via the MacBook.

Phase ! 4x5 Hasselblad V Rapid Adapter, attached to 1960's Sinar Norma 4x5 with Norma Pan Tilt Head. I masked down the edges on the glass, to the dimensions of the 37x37cm chip, and then also masked off the edges of the ground glass, there was too much backlight coming in to view properly. Now it is working perfectly with the Hasselblad CFV16 Digital Back. The Sinar Norma Shutter is connected to the back via a Hasselblad Cable which plugs into the back. I'm currently using the Hasselblad Stovepipe Viewfinders (I have several) for viewing the groundglass precisely. This digiphoto made with Broncolor Octobox 150 with 150 Grid creates beautiful catchlights. Background is Tim Kelly Beige by David Maheu.

New to Me Hasselblad ELM Ten Years On The Moon ser 0078 by Nokton48, on Flickr

My 500CM is out for tune up, so I decided on a second 500EL/M, as a backup. Here is my new camera, it's the "Ten Years On The Moon" Anniversary EL/M numbered #0078. Since this is a backup I wanted something different and this is it. My 500C/M is the Anniversary Edition Numbered and signed by Dr. Hasselblad, so it made sense to me to get the Moon Anniversary model. In the studio I prefer the EL/M model.

Many Thanks Again Godfrey!

I talked yesterday to KEH about this, I've decided to return the CFV16II. If I could get it to play nice, I'd keep it as a backup. So now I'll keep looking for another, these don't come up that often. People keep them.
Sorry to have 'gone dark' for a bit. Had a little vacation at the hospital for about two weeks with a GI bleed ... ugh. I'm back and recovering nicely now.

Catching up with this thread, I see a lot of new beautiful photos and they're all inspiring me to get out there with my Hasselblads more. I've got the A16 back on the SWC at present, loaded and ready, and of course will swap the CFVII 50c onto it if I get impatient for any modest reason. 😉

onwards,
G

I broke two circular metal taps, while threading the Aluminum Hockey Pucks, but now all the work is completed. I have four usuable FOBA Bases plus the more Modern Black One. I bought 13" 19" and 23" Goosenecks cheaply on Amazon. The thread on one end is 3/8" and the other is 1/4, so they work with my Manfrotto Clamps, and the base at the other end. The new goosenecks match pretty good with the Older Firolite Fiber Optic Cables. Still waiting for one more Manfrotto Clamp. And mayve I order a few more for spares.
