A Leica turned to Zorki

As I understand it some of the early Zorki’s are serviceable if you get a good one, even if not up to Leica standards.

Zorki cameras made in fifties, which are late Zorki are very serviceable. I changed curtains on two. Thier VF, RF are even brighter and cleaner than on Leica of same age. But shutter seems to have uneven exposures too early.
I have one Zorki which was serviced by well known person and uneven exposures came within couple of years.

I have heard of Leica II/III adapted to be a counterfeit collectable FED or Zorki, but never for a common daily shooter. Interesting article.

Very interesting story here. My FSU cameras are now “potentially Leica cameras”!
I will not take them apart. Let the wishful thinking stay in place.
