Ive been looking for a lens hood for my Elmar 90mm collapsible.but prices seem a bit much😱

Then i found this,a damaged working? Hektor with hood:
http://www.ebay.fr/itm/151714235309?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

That is a push fit, while my 90mm is a screw fit.Though it says 90mm/135mm is there another Elmar with another size hood??

The hood for my Summitar is push but to small---
(another question will this hood fit a summar???)

So many different size accessories im confused

That's not a push fit - it clips onto the lens using the external groove just in front of the aperture ring.

It'll fit a collapsible 90mm Elmar - but 99 euros is rather a steep price to pay.

Edit: if you want a really cheap option then there are similar hoods, but screw-in with the appropriate 39mm thread, on eBay for a few pounds.

ebay is EXPENSIVE just the hood is asking $90 to $130 same in Euros

At an EXPENSIVE Leica dealer the same costs from £25😱 BUT HUGE P&P costs or i would have bought one there

Guess im looking for a cheep scree hood

If that Hektor lens is good it would be worth buying with the hood BUT ....and its NOT 100% clear the hood will go with the lens nor the condition of the hood

I don't know what lens that is, but it looks nothing like my Hektor 135mm f/4.5 ...

My Hektor 135 lens cost me US$190. The cap and hood together cost another $70 (not from Ebay). The lens performs remarkably well for a 1960 version of a 1946 design...!

The correct hood would be the IUFOO, and its pretty affordable.

For example,

For the Summar, you most affordable option is either a FIKUS, FISON, or FLQOO. Which can be had for around 50-75$. These are A36 Push on, so no, any hood that fits the summar will be a tad to small for your Elmar Collapse. The OG summar square hoods are both large and extremely expensive.

with shipping its $70 😱 Rip offs in Europe with 25€ hoods and 30€ shipping,FAR less expensive to buy from a leica dealer 🙄
