Hi,
I'm looking to buy a Yashica camera, but there are so many different models. I'm looking for one that is compleatly manual, it would be nice if it was a slr also. I don't know how easy it is to come by these cameras or if they are expensive, so any advice is welcome.
Thanks.

Also add the Yashica Lynx series. They are fixed-lens manual exposure rangefinder cameras. The Lynx 14 and 14e feature F1.4 lenses.
You need to decide if you want an interchangeable lens Rangefinder, fixed-lens rangefinder, or a Reflex camera. Yashica made full lines of 42mm screwmount SLR's, and later Contax/Yashica Bayonet mount SLR's. I use a Yashica TL Electro-X, manual exposure SLR that takes 42mm screwmount lenses. $20 on a camera forum, needed cleaning and new light seals.

My very first camera was a Yashica FX 3, fully manual and accepts Yashica/Contax lenses. It's a pretty basic camera and should not cost too much to acquire.
