I attended a meeting of a small, local arts organization this evening. I showed the group my "new" Zorki-2c as a conversation piece, and explained that it was a Russian copy of a Leica design. One lady spoke up and said that she had a Leica at home but she could not get it to work. I believe she inherited it from her father, perhaps. She asked me if I could look at it. "Sure," I responded. She said, "I'll try to find it, then give you a call." She added, "He bought it in the 1940s or 50s."
