AAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!! 😀

I just bought a Yashica Electro 35 GS that is apparently in nearly perfect condition and CLA'd by Alan Turner in Arizona. He and his fiance are the sellers. Bought it off the auction site. I was thinking about perhaps NOT buying it, since I have no money at all. But then . . . .I found a Christmas card and it had a check in it!!!!!!!!!!! Just enough for the camera. My heart was pounding, and several times I got myself to the "pay now" point but couldn't bring myself to go through with it. It took me about 4 tries to get it right. Now, the ball is rolling, and hopefully it will arrive here some time next week. Yummy. My breathing is returning to normal after a hot shower.

Now my RF645 will return home from its trip to New York, and find a friend. I just hope the two get along, because neither is subordinate in size to the other, and both are rather heavy. I said that I'd buy something small, AF, and all that, but I guess, when it comes down to it, I just don't like little cameras. Except the COntax T3, but that 35mm is too rich for my blood.

Now, I'll just have to start another thread of glowing love for this newest toy - but never to deny an ounce of affection or use to the RF645.

This will be my first ownership of a "vintage" RF camera. Golf clap / group hug / three cheers for GAS. If my GAS could speak, it would fill these halls, this town, this county with a deafening roar.
