Folks,

I am a rookie in this forum so Hello Everybody.
I just got my first Hexar RF and start struggling with the focusing issue. I also wonder where can I get a leather case for it at a reasonable price (Luigi's cases are splendid and over my budget). Pls advise (on everything). Thanks.

yes, welcome to the forum.

sorry, i'm not sure about the hexar and a case, i don't much care for cases as a rule.
i use wrist straps on my cameras and almost always have a camera bag on my side. when i need to put down the camera it goes into my bag.
no case needed this way.

You might try this.
Measure your camera and email the dimensions to Stephen Gandy explaining what you are looking for. I think the Voigtlander body size has changed slightly as the newer models become introduced. They might have a case that approximates the size you need.
I may have read on Dante Stella that the Voiglander body was looking similar to a Konica body of a long time ago. The Hexar may or may not match something.

Regarding the focusing issue, I am so enlightened by a thread posted here by pvdhaar (Peter). I am doing it by trial and error and then trial...
Hopefully I will become qualified as a Surgeon of Hexar someday. I will surely get back to you once I cut a blood vessel of it.

welcome to RFF, J.. I, like Joe, don't have an answer regarding a case as I eschew them at all times.. I prefer my cameras nekkid 🙂
