Thanks everyone for the nice comments&discussion, it's much better than I was hoping for!
A few details:
Yes the images are low-tech, a webcam was used, that's why the "tv lighting" as well. That was not something I wished to hide but to show it, instead.
The "arab" issue: On one hand, i meant "arab" like "arabian" like "an arab person" of course. Especially since I am the guy on the second last frame. 😀 No i'm not arab by origins but sometimes people say I look like. I don't mind at all.
Excuse me dear people, but I fail to see how the word "arab" (or "jew" or "irish" or "gipsy" or "american" for that matter) can be racistic or derogatory in any way, unless there are some associations to negative things in the mind of the viewer, that should not be there at all!!
So i will delete the whole title, because as it is now, butchered, it does not make sense at all! I thought of deleting the whole thread but we got some pretty cool discussion so i won't.
BrianShaw: you might be right, it coould maybe work better, but in that case it might feel like unfinished.
Friedrich: That's actually a great idea!!! I guess using a 220-film with 24 frames of 6x6 would be ideal for the project (or,eventually, 6x4.5) as those slides are large enough to be viewable without a loupe already.
I wonder though if the slide would resist for such a long time being illuminated. Using some "cold" light maybe?
If you manage to make it at some moment, please make a shot of the whole lamp thing and post it here!
