Hi 🙂

I went photo-shooting this weekend with a friend of mine who is a beginner and who asked me to explain her how to take photos with a film camera, and so we did set up, I with a Kiev-4A / J8M, her with an Exakta Vx500 that I passed her for the occasion.

The photo shooting was so nice that we decided to set-up a project which will consist of many Prague suburbs photos, posted in a specifical blog. I developed the negatives and was totally blown away by the sharpness I had from the combo I used, however my friend still needs a bit of practice in focusing ... and "her" Vx500 has light leaks... so I hope to get her another Kiev for the next occasion.

You can see the results of our expedition here : http://www.microraion.com 😀 😉

Cheers & be well !

that's a nice idea and I'm a little bit astonished that on your web-blogg I can't see photos from Prague wich I'm able to identify it as a shoot in Prague.
Maybe a complete different view of the city I have visited last summer.

I'll visit your blogg periodical.

Thanks

Thank you Martin, I love your own shots! 🙂

This side-project I started is a different from what I usually do ... see for example on my flickr .. (check my signature) ... I am glad to share something original -rather: unseen!- about Prague 😉

Thanks Ondrej and yes, I've seen Petrzalka when I went to Bratislava three years ago 😉 I have read about Petrzalka on that wikipedia article about panelaks. I remember the most impressive for me were the suburbs of Brno and of course Jizni Mesto in Prague. 🙂

Max, this is cool! I've been thinking of a similar approach for some time now but haven't been able to come up with the right angle. I think I can learn a thing or two from your project.

Thank you so much! Well, it's just a humble beginning and I hope that my friend will get a rangefinder as well soon 😉

This week-end we should go to a "very nice" place .... so ...

"Stay tuned for more happy days" 😉
Max
