I've received back a Bessa II I sent Jurgen Kreckler for CLA. The camera now is a complete joy to use, it's smooth and focuses accurately. When I've asked him questions by email he has always replayed within the same day answering all my questions.
I'm very happy with the experience and I'll be repeating in the future when needed.

I just have to say one thing - all these old folders are amazing cameras, capable of superb results. I love mine. And looks like everybody else is enjoying theirs.
Its sad - modern cameras will never have this appeal or following years down the line.
To OP - great images! Keep them coming - there is a whole thread dedicated to pics from old folders in 120 folders section.

I have had four good experiences with him, but I got a blue bellows (thin) which was crap. I assume that he does not use this vendor anymore, but don't ask for blue.

I had purchased a Zeiss Super Ikonta 532/16 from Jurgen and needed a rangefinder adjustment. He was pleasant to deal with and did a proper adjustment, no charge. Just used the camera today, smooth as ever. Great guy to deal with.

I'd say it's probably best to wait a few decades before making that statement. ;-)

Kudos to Jurgen Kreckel!! Got my Super Ikonta working just fine. Was having rangefinder and film winding problems. Think these two pics show that the rangefinder is working as designed. Thanks again, Jurgen.

why on earth is this post/thread on this forum? it is nothing relating to 120 rangefinders that are supposed to be the subject matter.
imho JK does not deserve any free advertising
personally i would never again trust him with anything other than a simple Agfa Isolette bellows replacement - he is not consistant enough to be trusted for simple repairs, shutter service or even rangefinder calibration - 3/5 times we had to return the camera to complete the job properly & communication was a nightmare.

Since I doubt that anyone is truly perfect I suspect that there would have to be at least one person who has had a bad experience. However my own experience has been far different and I have no problem letting him work on my own folders. As for any free advertisement, referrals on people who are in business to repair or sell cameras is part of what many of us turn to these forums to find. And "free" advertisement can certainly cut both ways as is evident by your own testimonial.

(with all due respect) blah!
spent alot of money with JK, many cameras, many services - lot's of mistakes, negligence, returns & waiting & waiting for a replies to emails.

camera CLA'd + new bellows & rangefinder calibration by Jurgen Kreckel - camera had to be returned to fix the rangefinder wheel which would not move the full range & was very stiff.

hair & debris inside lens elements (after claimed) thoroughly CLA'd camera purchased from Jurgen Kreckel (aka Certo6) - now removed after sending the camera back at my own expense & inconveniece - grrr!

532/16 returned from CLA with Jurgen Kreckel with (p)leather corner missing, dirt in viewfinder & unfixed frame spacing problem - so we had sent the camera back a second time for repair at our own expense - frame overlap problem was never fixed.

rare French Lumiclub circa 1954/55 back from repair with a very basic German shutter circa 1931 - was told by JK the original Lumiére shutter was unrepairable - but he was told by his shutter repairer that it actually just needed donor parts (which i had).
don't trust Jurgen Kreckel with any treasured camera's!
attn moderators why is there a testimonial here regarding a camera that this forum does not even cover?
says at the top of the page: 120 RF's 120 / 220 format rangefinders including Fuji, Koni-Omega, Mamiya Press, Linhof 6x7/6x9 cameras among others, but excluding the 120 folders and Mamiya 6/7 that have their own forums.
please move or delete.

if your Ikonta ever needs work - send your camera to Mark Hansen @ http://www.zeissikonrolleirepair.com (link)
Mark is knowledgeable, friendly, honest & has very reasonable pricing with good to excellent turnaround time.

I know this thread is a bit long in the tooth. I am too. I too am JK fan and I deal with things much like Kuzano. Life is too short to mince...
Anyway, I am hoping to pick your minds. I have two 6x9 I use, one is Zeiss Mess (Jurgen) and a Bessa I had him CLA...
I am looking to go with a Certo6 from Jurgen, but know squat about the camera. I trust Jurgen and figure his products are the best.
So, need to know what opinions might be regarding the camera? I shoot these things and scan in the negatives to avoid the wet work.
Think I am nuts or should I just creep along with the two above and my wee 645 Pearl?
Thanks...and the plug for Jurgen K (Certo6) is very well placed, IMHO.
Speak your minds...I am a decent listener.

Hi, recently acquired a cla´d certo six form JK, nice guy.
I´m waiting for this beauty to arrive.
In hte past i had a Superikonta 523/16, great camera, but i think this certo six will give me more love with it´s parallax compensation.
and i´m quite confident on JK´s ability to render the Rf back to splendor!
Cn´t wait to shoot with her!

I chose Mark Hansen and just emailed him to request price quotes on minor repairs for both my Super Ikonta B's.

Much thanks. He will have a Certo6 with Synchro Compur (to 500) for 400 $coots so I guess, considering all, might be my salvation, at this point.
My 6x9s are fine but smaller and square beckon...and my very small Konica Pearl is balking...
I will send an email to Mr. Hansen to see if he CLAs these nifty Nippon cameras. It is a 645 and manual, but so small and fast.
Thanks again.

Other poster's experiences notwithstanding, I repeat: kudos to Jurgen Kreckel. The man does good work and I will, likely, do business with him again.

ps I kinda thought a 532/16 was a 120 rangefinder.

Looking for a good firm to CLA a Konica Pearl 645...
And, coincidentally, I was influenced by your comments above and bought a Certo-Six and a Mamiya-6...seems I am a collector by accident. I shoot with two 6x9s, Zeiss and Bessa II and a 4/3 digital with adapted Nikkors...I scan the big negs and print digitally, so as to avoid the chems which bother me skin.
My wee Pearl needs some shutter work and I fear I might not do it right, besides it would not hurt to have a pro give it a once over, very nifty little machine it is,indeed.
