I never delete any photo -even blanks. What the heck - it's only disk space. But I also don't go back and look at some. I would put your photo in that category.

This is a pretty poor photo for many reasons, but i still like it.
I have a soft spot for it because i think it was one of the first photos, from the first roll of film, from my first trip to Europe when i was still at school. Plus it one one of the first photos i ever developed myself.
So yeah, i guess all of those factors combine, and i like it eventhough its not a very good photo

Pitxu, (pichew), that is not 'lifeless.' In fact, it is the opposite. I won't even comment about 'dead.' There are are a lot of things to be said about that image; exuberance of youth, etc, etc. But you don't have to say anything; the images does the talking.

But if you want consistent artistic serendipity, just get a really contrasty lens (don't forget to rub your nose on the front and rear elements), a few bottles of whiskey (aka "scotch"), some Neopan 1600 rated at 100, and develop in Rodinal. Bocato di cardinale!
