a really crappy photo that for some reason you really like

crappy for the obvious reasons but I kinda like it:

This is not the worst photo I've ever taken but, so far, I'm the only one who likes it. And I'm not quiet sure why, to be honest. I'm actually thinking about a seriously big print of it to hang on my wall.

It certainly is, every village round here, no matter how small, has one.
Pitxu.

Can you explain what you mean by this? I assume you mean the arched stone wall in the background, with some type of iron framing. I thought this was the facade of a building. What is the significance of "pelote basque?" Just curious.

Rob, that's a fantastic shot. I love it. Get yourself a big print and hang it up!!

Hi Crawdiddy,
The "Fronton" is just a big wall that is used for "throwing" balls at, like "sqaush" or racket ball.

Pelota, is the basque word for ball.
There are about 10 different disciplines, bare-hand (the most famous), and different kinds of bats of solid wood or basket of different shapes and sizes.

It's played a lot in Florida I beleive.

Pitxu.

So, in other words, it's Basque-ette ball. Interesting....

if you don't mind me askin, what is that? I've always liked the photos where you're not really sure what you're looking at better than the others.

Wrong camera for that. I have taken a lot, but they all gone. At least this one I look often. Do not exactly know why!
