Personally I don't like vignetting and neither do I like the blue cast of the Nikkor -- to me the Skopar wins this hands down. But that Canon in the last post is also pretty wonderful (I think Winogrand used one of these for his Public Relations project).

I'm not inclined to judge color cast based on scans. It's possible that these were done in 'auto' mode. Much better to look at the slides on a light table. Or to verify that the poster used a color-calibrated work flow.

I think the samples of canon are taken with digital camera which using cropped APS-C sensor. So it can gives more better image quality because cropped sensor dismiss four conrners of full size image.

I did pick up a Canon 25f3.5 LTM while in Tokyo last week. I have shot a couple of rolls with it (on a R4M) and it will be interesting to look at the results from it - once the jet-lag have subsided (came back yesterday - and the time difference is 16 hours!). I have found that jet-lag and film developing does not mix well!!! Will post once i have waded through 30 + rolls of negs.
