Using the Fuji XT3 this weekend with a speed booster and the 1964 KMZ made Jupiter 9

I honestly don’t know why I don’t use this lens more ! plus it looks awesome !
The dogs are great. Sonnars likewise. Almost a century old design. Do it right the first time and you need do it only once. Thank you, Herr Doktor Bertele.

1936 CZJ 5cm F2 Sonnar, converted to Leica Mount. Wide-Open on the M240.
This just makes me wanna shoot with my ZK ZORKI all the more. But it’s a collapsible one, and has some cleaning needed internally. I don’t think there’s a way at the front elements behind without unscrewing the ID ring and I don’t want to damage the paint :/

Another shot of my dogs.

And the lens. Yeah I know it has some tarnishing but I don’t want to spoil the rest of its patina it’s gained over its 60+ years. This is a Zenit M39 SLR lens, it works quite well with an adapter but falls short at infinity due to the Flange focal difference between M39 & M42 mounts. However, it’s still possible to get a pleasing shot by stopping down…IMG_2068.jpeg

To shoot at infinity with an open aperture and look for sharpness there is a rare artistic idea.)

I have the same one, only black, I really like this form factor of the case for some inexplicable reason.
The case, color and M39-M42 changed at the turn of 1967-1971.
