I struggle with the imprecision; or rather the fiddly manual exposure arrows on the M11. I find the manual metering difficult. Whereas on my M6, it’s a piece of cake, it just works.
I was pondering whether to get a Hedeco Lime Two and use that instead. Is this a really stupid idea?

I don’t have an M11 so I can’t comment on that. It looks like a very compact meter. I prefer a Sekonic L-308 hand held but if you prefer hot shoe mounted and this works better for you, why not?
Just my 2c.

No idea is too stupid to be spoken 😎
Although I also have exposure meters with a digital display, like the "Reflx Lab Light meter" or the "Gossen Digisix" (and some other) I prefer an exposure meter with a needle display, such as the "Sekonic Twinmate L-208".
The choice is yours.

Not really, I still carry and use my Weston Euromaster V when I'm out with my Leica M-P (Typ-240)

I'm not sure, but isn't there a way to get the exposure to display on the rear screen on an M11?
