A 'Testing' Forum

Could there be a new forum: 'Testing' where people could try out colored text, or links in their signature, or uploading images or whatever people want to test.

At this time all the forums are live and so any testing has to be done in a real forum and unexpected results may inconvenience other members. I'm thinking here of some members whose posts seem to shrink the display width for posts which follow later.

With a Testing forum we could try out new techniques and mend stuff that is broken without messing up real forums.

Maybe the more tech-savvy members would look in from time to time to give guidance to folks getting frustrated trying to get something to work.

If you reply by clicking the Go Advanced button there is a button to Preview Post without submitting it. That sounds like what you are endorsing. I think there is also a preview button in the User CP which will allow you to see a new Signature prior to accepting it too.
