a Vote for the "worst" word used in the RFF in 2006

Especially true when you consider that film (or perhaps plates) are the original digital medium. The halide crystals turn black (once developed) once a threshold of an "amount" of light reachs them. It is a reaction that happens or not, ie on or off. Our eyes will "see" various shades of grey depending on the density of those that have reacted. However it is still digital. 😀

B+W photography. 😡 Mind you I admire monochrome work. 😉

If you look at a mono print, it is over 95% grey! When you look at the neg, there is no "white" at all - it's black bits and clear bits and when they're mixed it looks grey. When you print it's black and the colour of the paper.

Sorry but it's like asking for a black and white cartridge for the printer. :bang:
