Something about pointy prisms is attractive. With an OM-1, I immediately take off the removable roof-top hotshoe. Must be the ancient Egyptian in us all...

Got a second lens - Nikkor-H 28mm f3.5
I must say, the lens is cheap and good.

Loaded the second roll of film in the camera and went out again. Here are some shots from this round. 28mm is a bit wider then the 50 I'm used to, but I think I'll get the hang of it.

Damn, I'm starting to prefer the F to my Leica....

bakemono - the F has some magic in it and together with the 50mm f2 Nikkor there is cream (bokeh) on your coffee (b&w film):

I saw an F with the Photomic FN prism on Ebay at what looked like a good price so I bought it on an impulse. To power the meter I used two 675 hearing aid batteries shimmed with 1/2" o-ring and a scrap of aluminum foil. Below are two samples. The first was taken with a 50/2.0 non-ai and the second with 135/3.5 AI converted lens.
