Just a heads up- I received my replacement Leica M8 today just in time for a trip. This was sent out to replace my old M8 that was damaged as a result of a faulty strap. What other camera company honors their customers in this way?

What other company charges their customers this way? I'm pleased that you got your M8 in a timely fashion (especially since you need it for a trip), but you paid a lot for that Passport warranty. If the strap let go on my M3, my insurance agent would be cutting me a cheque quickly, too.

Unless, of course, you didn't have a Passport, in which case, this is pretty impressive.
