Hi bgb. The MG1 is a nice enough camera, but are not the same league as the GS, GSN's etc. They have one advantage in that the lightmeter cell is located within the lens barrel making filter compensation etc much simpler. In virtually every other respect the standatd Electro's are superior. The MG1's have been bringing fairly big sums lately for some obscure reason. One sold here on *bay for over $100.00 a couple of weeks ago, but that's a crazy price. If you want another rangefinder get a GSN or a GTN or a Konica Auto S2 or a Minolta Himatic 7s. They will probably cost you less and are much better cameras.

You can find them cheaper I have two paid no more than 15 dollars for each and trust me they are not worth more. They are the cheapest feeling cameras in my collection. Don't pay 75 for one. My last GSN a quality camera was only 25 dollars US. Keep looking a deal will find you.

howpow & jody ... thanks for your advice, someone grabbed it at BIN of $75 which i think is crazy. Guess I'll just have to be a patient 'little grasshopper' and wait for the real thing to come along. I have noticed that any old camera is being called vintage or collectible with a price to match
Thanks again,
Brian
