Mine have all turned to gunk and now I am getting some serious light leak going on. Does anyone know where I can get a kit to repair the seals myself? :)

Jon Goodman is a delight to deal with, I've just refitted my Ricoh 500G with one of his kits ... email him at jon(underscore)goodman(at)yahoo.com

Thanks for the info!

I'm curious as to why my post was moved to point-and-shoots...
The A35F was the last rangefinder made by canon. Even though it is full-auto, you still have to manually focus with the rangefinder.

You don't need a kit, there aren't any fancy seals in the A35F. I did mine just like I do all of my cameras. If you go to your local craft store you can find two kinds of black felt. One has an adhesive back and one doesn't. Your total cost should be around $2. Put the adhesive backed stuff on the flat parts of the door and cut the non adhesive felt into thin strips for the other gaps. Even if you've never done it before, you'll be done in about 15 mins. Its very easy.

Probably because it has a built-in flash and automatic exposure. RF people often sneer at stuff like that (it's so un-leica, ya know :) ). To me it is the best fixed-lens rangefinder camera ever, but what do I know...
